Advantage Waste Systems Inc - Customer Service Agreement

This customer service agreement will be available online and in printed form upon request.

RIGHTS

Customer has the right to weekly trash pickup with the use of a 95 gallon container curbside on a predetermined day of the week.  Holidays, weather and route changes may impact temporarily or permanently the day determined.  Service will be carried out without damage to property, in a neat and timely manner.

Customer has the right to receive a paper bill or electronic copy stating current charges.  Account status is available by phone during normal business hours.  The customer may also request a receipt for any billing transaction that takes place.  Payment for service may be made by phone, mail or online as provided.

Service may be cancelled or suspended at any time.  Refunds for unused full months of payment may be requested at time of cancellation.


RESPONSIBILITES

All containers and trash must be placed curbside before the actual determined pickup day.  For example:  Place the container / trash curbside the night before your service day.  Advantage has no responsibility to return for trash pickup for that week if container / trash is place curbside after our truck has been at address. 

Fees are based on a 95 gallon container provided.  Additional trash outside the container is subject to additional fees and/or non pickup.  Households that have more than 1 container of trash weekly must request a second container and pay applicable fees.

All service is contingent on prepayment.  Payment must be received at least 1 business day before determined pickup day.  Payment that is received after due date is subject to a late fee.  Suspension/termination of service may occur at anytime after due date for non-payment.  Customer is responsible for paying outstanding balance + current month's charge + late fees if service is terminated.  In the case of termination due to non-payment, we will use any account information provided to us in the past to collect overdue balance.  Collection fees and court fees may apply if terminated accounts with overdue balances are turned over to a collection agency.  When paying by check, you authorize us to collect a fee ($25.00) for checks that are returned for non sufficient funds or are written on accounts that are no longer valid.

Service is for general household trash only.  Yard waste, bulk items, liquids, metals, tires, batteries and hazardous materials are not included in regular service.  Additional fees apply for non-household trash pickup.

All trash should be bagged.  We assume no responsibility for unintentional litter or messes caused by trash that is not in bags.

Customer is responsible for containers provided for their use while they are in their possession.  Replacement fees for theft, damage and vandalism other than normal wear, are the customer's responsibility.  We are not responsible for personal containers or other containers that are not provided by Advantage Waste.  If you need additional containers please reqeust them.

Service is provided for 1 household only.  Sharing of service between households is strictly forbidden and will incur additional charges and/or termination of service.
